Species Ability/Perk
Ivris is a demon, but she is not just any demon; she is the Ruler of the Underworld, and likely one of the strongest demons Zeref has ever created. Her power seems to have no limit, and she will continue to grow in strength as time goes on. She was born from the Books of Zeref, and has been known by many names as time has passed. The Evil Queen, the Goddess of Hell, and the Black Empress are just a few examples, but recently she has been known as the Dark Sovereign.
Etherious Form: Ivris's Etherious Form is a sight to behold indeed. Her body itself becomes Magic Power in its purest form, and her hair takes on an ethereal pink/purple glow as well. The true power her Etherious Form holds is that in this form she is able to absorb magic power from the air; this doesn't weaken or harm anyone. She can use this to heal herself of B-Rank damage over two posts (C-Rank healing each post). This lasts for a maximum of four posts and has a five post cooldown. This form cannot be used to make people think that Ivris is someone else.
Undying Essence: Even if Ivris is killed, she will be reborn anew. However, as her body is reformed in the molten core under the crust of Earthland, she will appear somewhere in the wilderness of any nation, and cannot return to the thread that she died in. She will also respawn with her S through SS-rank spells sealed and must do a training thread for each spell in order to remove their seals, each spell needing a 500 WC for S-Rank spells and a 1,000 WC for SS-Rank spells training thread. She is able to die at most ten times, after the final death she cannot use the Altar to revive.
Special Unique Characteristics
Ageless: Ivris never seems to age, and never will. She easily keeps herself in a state of perpetual youth, being an immortal demon. Even though she can live forever, however, that doesn't mean she will; she is not invincible.
Character Depth
Ivris believes, understandably so, that she is by far the greatest being next to Zeref himself that has ever existed. For this reason, she is pretentious and demanding towards other demons, and she views humans as little less than insects unless they have proven themselves to be worthy. Otherwise, Ivris will deal with most humans as if they were pesky insects, if even that. She will destroy them without reason unless she thinks they might be worthy of her attention, but even then she will not go easy on them/ The same goes for demons, although she is a bit more lenient with them, and she believes them all to have been created to achieve her same goal anyways; that being, they would help to return this world to Zeref. Otherwise, however, she will aim to quickly finish off her enemies without any pity or concern for them in the slightest, eradicating their existence from this world. She is a cruel and haughty woman, loving to revel in her own greatness and power. Most humans, and even some demons, would likely describe her as despicable, the truest form of evil; she lives only to further her own goals by whatever means necessary, and she will do whatever it takes, even if it means slaughtering all the life on the planet.However, this is not to say she is serious and devastatingly evil all the time. She actually has a very carefree nature when she chooses to relax and enjoy the company of those who she surrounds herself with, to some extent. This attitude can also show up when she is fighting opponents who she might consider to be strong enough to treat as worthy opponents. She will even laugh and smile, enjoying this time and possibly even playing with her opponent, as she does not fear anything or anyone. Even death holds no power over her, but actually dying is something she will never forgive herself for; she will, of course, say it was only because she didn't take the battle seriously, but if she ever were to die, she would most definitely plot revenge against anyone who killed her, and would become extremely dangerous while doing so.
Likes:
Power - Ivris feels unbeatable, and so power is practically her best friend. She also likes to surround herself with those she views as powerful, in order to not have to deal with anyone who would dare question her authority herself. She is above all of that, at least in her own mind.
Murder - Although she doesn't go out killing people all the time, the death of her enemies is very pleasing to see or hear about. She doesn't usually do the dirty work herself unless she has to, but when the time comes, the gloves will come off and she will do what needs to be done.
Demons - Humans have always been pathetic to her unless they are strong enough and can serve her purposes. She has always preferred demons in any case, and to other races she is more or less indifferent depending on what they are, but she will usually classify them as only slightly better than humans in most cases.
Dislikes:
Challenges - If anyone ever tries to challenge her, they will only end up annoying and angering her. She will deal with them in her own time if she needs to, so anyone actually calling her out will spell certain doom for them.
Disobedience - She will not tolerate disobedience in the slightest. She expects every order she issues to be carried out in full, even if the one she commands it to does not agree. Her will is law.
Children - She's always hated them. They make too much noise and make unnecessary disruptions. She cannot deal with them, and would rather they all die. Since she is so old, this even applies to young adults; they are all the same in her mind.
Fears:
Being Defeated - Although she will never admit it, Ivris worries that she might meet her match; she knows that she is not the only one who has lived as long as she has, and there are many people who have somehow managed to gain power that could possibly threaten her own.
Failing Zeref - Probably the only thing she consciously worries about at times. She fears that she will never be able to return this world to Zeref, as she has no clue exactly how she will go about this.
Devil Slayers - She knows that these individuals have the power to do her great harm, and will do whatever she can to eradicate them before they can do the same to her. However, she pretends that they are merely nuisances.
Motivations/Goals:
Figuring out how to return the world to Zeref - Her life's goal is to do Zeref's will, but she has no idea what she must do. This fact will always be on her mind, and she will do everything in her power to discover what needs to be done before Zeref can rule this world once more.
Becoming the most powerful - She already believes herself to be the most powerful being next to Zeref, but she still wants to keep growing more and more powerful; she knows that there can be no limit to her strength.
Destroying humanity - She will eradicate humans who are not powerful enough and do not wish to serve her; they are either tools to be used or not worthy of existing.
