Abilities of the Item
1.) Resistance to Magical damage: The armor emits a aura of energy that deflects most spells of the same rank as the armor up to 15%. And all below by 25%, this ability activates when the first spell is cast at the user, and lasts for two rounds, while the recharge requires double the user time, four rounds until the next field can be emitted.
2.) Evolves to Surroundings: The armor has a knack to evolve to the users surroundings, and at any point can the armor change form to meet the surroundings. If it is hot outside the armor will turn into a leather coat with many open areas for breathing room. If it is extremely cold, then it will transform into a heavy coat with warm insulators that will warm the wearer.
3.) Invisibility: The armor has the passive ability to make the user turn invisible due to the way it can bend light around it. This ability only occurs when the user is extremely scared, exhausted or wishes to hide from others, the armor will bend the light particles around the user for a short time. This however has a cost of a 5 round cool down after three rounds have pasted when activation has occurred.
Weaknesses of the Item
1.) Weak to Physical Damage: The armor has a 15% debuff to the users ability to deflect physical damage of the ranks below the user and 25% any physical damage above their own.
2.) Unpredictability: The armor does have the ability to alter it's form to fit the environment, but this comes with a cost, if the armor switches too quickly between forms. Meaning if the environment where to shift between hot and cold very quickly and for long periods of time. The armor could accidentally meld with the user and alter their own genetic code, eventually killing them, or morphing them into a new form. Which could be a hideous beast, a gorgeous male or convert the gender to the opposite of their own.
3.) Transparently: Despite the fact that the armor makes the user invisible, this is not the case for higher rank mages, if the mage outranks the user in power, all that the opposing mage will see is a translucent figure, almost similar to that of a wavy outline showing the wearer of the armor.
Backstory of The Item
The armor was given to Grim from his Grandfather whom was a Arch Angel of the upper reaches of heaven, the armor was fitted to Grim due to the armors amazing ability to adapt and evolve depending on the user. When he got the armor, a symbiotic relationship began to fester and form as the suit melded with Grim's body allowing him to wear it. It even allowed his wings and tail to be fitted through, and after his grandfather telling that the armor works only for Grim unless he was to pass away. Grim was happy to gain the armor, and after training for about three days with it on; was able to master the ability to not pass out from the sheer weight of it. Once the armor was finally melded to him, Grim returned to the world below him and began his training once more to become a Arch Mage like his Grandfather. And to be a proud son of a wonderful woman like his mother, who had much hope for her son.
