by Hello!! May I be the first to say, welcome to FTORP!! I know, at first, all sites seem super confusing. That's why we have this guide, so you can get through your application and get to roleplaying ASAP!! Here's what you need to do:
Start by reading the Site Rules. This'll give you info on everything and anything that's okay or not okay to do on this site. Make sure to read it all! Reading the Staff Rules that come with it is suggested as well. It's a good thing to know what staff can and can't do as well. In fact, it's probably best to go over the entire Player Support forum first thing. Get all that info through your head so you know what's going on when you make your character!
After that, head on over to the WIP Characters forum. There, you'll be creating your character for the site!! You'll need to use the Character Template. But, if you don't like it, feel free to make your own!! Just keep in mind, it must be the same general format as the one given on the template topic!
Now is time for you to get your app checked. Double check to make sure you read the template carefully. Sometimes, you miss something, and don't even notice unless you double check. One of the staff will make sure to get to it as soon as possible, but if it's been 24 hours and all you can hear is crickets, feel free to post at the Help Desk and kick our butts into gear!
Once that is all said and done, next would usually be stats. However, as every mage starts out with Beginner stats, you don't have to make a topic on that until you wish to rank them up ^.^
Then there's magic. The Magic Guidelines will tell you everything you need to know, and the Magic Template will give you what to use. Note, Slayer magic needs to be applied for, and some canon magics have information to help you in this topic. Celestial Spirit mages, take a looksie right here.
Then the checking process begins again!!
Once that is through, you're free!! Explore! You can RP, start a job, gain jewels, buy pets or equipment, make friends, chat in the CBox, and so much more! We're glad to see you here, and we all hope you have fun!!
