Species Ability/Perk
Clarisse is a woman with an interesting past. For it is due to the happenings of her birth that she became a crossbreed between the Hunteress and the very thing that she hunts, a demon. Clarisse was born to a clan of supernatural hunters –the very clan that Natalia Pryde was born into and ultimately expelled from. Ironically, Clarisse also happened to be born to the same mother and father the vampiress was born from just decades earlier. As fate would have it, Clarisse was born with bright yellow serpentine eyes. Not only that, but it was also on the day that the serpent god decided to bring about destruction and chaos to the clans. Yet, Clarisse wasn’t born from just any demon, but to Apep, the Serpent God of Chaos and Destruction as well as one of the leaders of the underground realm of the dead. It was while she laid within her crib that the serpent god entered the young infant to escape the unexpected strength of the hunters. To avoid the demon from escaping, the hunters sealed Apep within Clarisse. With her body adapting to the change, Clarisse became serpant like and obtained the abilities that Apep carried upon itself.
1. Viper’s Kiss: Similar to that of a vampire’s fang, Clarisse is able to extract and retract serpent fangs for her personal use. These fangs cannot suck blood, but rather poison. The poison gives her an additional percentage of health points. This only works, though, with physical contact and her teeth literally having to pierce through her victim’s skin. This is the total health she can gain per use. She can only use this ability three times per thread.

2. Apep’s Seal: Clarisse is a being with a snake demon’s soul, Apep’s, sealed into herself since her time as an infant. Therefore, due to their connection and strong bond, Clarisse is able to revert to Apep with just a tip of her hat. With the removal of her fedora, Apep comes into light granting Clarisse with serpent 'sensory.' This ability has the side effect of letting people know it is in activation through the change of eye color. The switching from yellow eyes to bloody red.
Sensory "Radar" Chart:
* D Rank: Able to perfectly detect those of D and tell what they are and rank within a radius of 7 meters. Those of C rank, she knows they are there but cannot tell of anything else.
* C rank: Able to perfectly detect those of D and C rank and tell what they are and rank within a radius of 17 meters. Those of C rank, she knows they are there but cannot tell of anything else.
* B rank: Able to perfectly detect those of D, C, and B rank and tell what they are and rank within a radius of 20 meters. Those of A rank, she knows they are there but cannot tell of anything else.
* A rank: Able to perfectly detect those of D, C, B, and A rank and tell what they are and rank within a radius of 23 meters. Those of S rank, she knows they are there but cannot tell of anything else.
* S rank: Able to perfectly detect those of D, C, B, A, and S rank and tell what they are and rank within a radius of 25 meters. Those of S+ rank, she knows they are there but cannot tell of anything else.
* S+ rank: Able to detect anyone at any rank perfectly.
Special Unique Characteristics
1. Snake Eyes: Clarisse has yellow serpentine eyes that shift bloody red when Apep is activated.
2. Viper’s Fang: Clarisse has serpentine fangs as stated in the perk area.
3. Fedora: Clarisse almost always wears a black, signature fedora.
Character Depth
Personality: (350 words minimum. This includes how your character acts in and outside battle.)Likes:
- Serpentine Creatures: Due to her correlation with the serpentine god, Clarisse has always enjoyed the company of serpents and they with her.
- Technology & Tinkering: Clarisse has always been fascinated with technological advancements. She could even go as far as calling herself an inventor of sorts due to her love of breaking things apart and remaking it.
- Information: As Clarisse is a highly specialized informant, she values the gathering of knowledge and information. After all, what would she be without her technique of taking and selling information?
Dislikes:
- Wasting Time: There is no greater pet peeve for the young serpentine than wasted time. Time is valuable as well as money. If you happen to waste her time, you better watch out.
- Immoral People: This, without a doubt, is vague. Here, though, the "immoral" persons she is referring to are those that do not keep their end of their bargain, those that crave and act upon constant sexual desires, etc.
- Undecisiveness: Clarisse works for a price yet, when her clientel cannot make up their minds, she hates that with a passion. She is someone who cannot tolerate the undecisiveness of people and may even end up walking away from a job or team.
Fears:
- Apep: Clarisse fears the takeover of Apep. She knows what Apep’s ultimate goals are and, regardless of the outcome, she does not wish for it to happen.
- Falling In Love: Clarisse is an assassin and infamous "underground" informant. Therefore, due to the secrecy that surrounds her and the fact that her job brings about death and destruction, love is something she cannot afford.
- The End: Clarisse fears the day that it all ends for her -her reputation, her work, her life to be completely taken away from her. This is something she knows will be inevitable and thus awaits the day with a held breath.
Motivations/Goals:
- Serving Elizabeth: Clarisse is an extremely loyal person. Yet, the only person up to date that she would give her life for is Elizabeth, Guild Master of Animus Sin. As such, she has become her personal informant and even joined Behemoth upon request.
