Host: As a fallen goddess Erin is forced to live by the mortal coil of all the other inhabitants of this world the only difference being that when she collapses on this planet she was forced to find a vessel that was recently vacated. Forced into the first she came across, the goddess of fortune assumed the appearance of a fourteen year old child from which she can’t escape without ascending back to her higher plane from whence she was banished. This includes the ability to float for short periods of times as it is quite taxing on her since she can’t channel the full amount of her usual power while within the form of this child. She can only float for about 2 posts in a row before needing a 3 post rest.
Blessing: Normally a child’s body is more fragile than that of other beings, but with the blessing the goddess cast upon it this host’s body proves to be resilient to most form of heavenly magic (20% decrease) as she is a being that once was holy herself. This however means that those of demonic nature are a true severe threat to her (20% increase).

The Goddess of Fortune was also sometimes rumored to be lady luck, a quality that she maintained in the heaven due to her exceptional skills in games. A cardsharp and bluffer all rolled into one gorgeous package till eventually she fooled around with the wrong players. As in the realm of spirits she is still maintaining the majority of her characteristics. Her competitive nature that had her cast down to this planet wasn’t stunted but instead nurtured to full bloom. Erin however does experience some mixed emotions when playing games now as her childish mind still influences her and makes her extremely emotional about such ordeals. As a former poker player, she knows how to bluff but even this was compromised by her sudden change in room and boarding. As she had to inhabit a dying body the young girl constantly makes her want to be honest which ruins her plans to win the savings of all the humans on this world. Nothing like having an honest child sitting behind your hand telling people that they should fold because you have a royal flush.
It isn’t split personality disorder though, instead they are fused to one person and despite the childish misfires she tends to flow with them. It isn’t opportune but it is still living on in a near goddess state so she can’t complain. Sith this she is like that of an adolescent and tends to hop about and grabbing onto people that she knows, demanding that they give her a piggy back ride as a goddess shouldn’t have to live with sore feet. Despite the fact that she can hover for short periods. She is an excellent judge of character even for those who try to lead one astray such as con artists. Generally, she is intrigued and decides to go along with their little cons as she pulls of the sweet innocent child routine with great skill. Superiority complex. Erin was once a goddess mind you so she sees herself as over classified to rule over such simple mortals but is humbled by her own thought of being inexperienced in this life. She entered this world in the form of a child and the knowledge of a god She has no idea how she is suppose to act and is often asking her friends what she is suppose to do in certain situations.
In combat, her ideals change to that of a great strategist. She has crossed chess pieces with the wisest spirits of her realm and has proven her ability to manipulate a situation in her favor. The thought of bloodshed of pawns is rather vulgar but she maneuvers them none the same instead viewing it as just another game. Generally she wins as her skills on the board are quite unique but occasionally she is out matched. It upsets her so much that she often shows herself as the child she is when defeated. Emotionally breaking down on the battlefield in a river a tears. For the most part, Erin hasn’t taken a fight/game seriously in a matters of centuries.
As a goddess, one normally is too proud to reveal such petty emotions like anger. A child, however, is an emotional roller coaster which is capable of loving and hating people at the push of a button. Usually Erin has little issues repressing these emotions but sometimes she just snaps generally ranting her mind for the next twenty four hours with little signs of stopping. Unfortunately, her adolescent nature tends to win out requiring a nap time where she forgets.
Likes: (3 minimum)
- Games: A way of life to Erin quite honestly, it was how she lived her life in the heavens proving her ability to all other gods. It didn’t matter what variation they picked she loved the game and would master it in a matter of seconds. Among them though she holds a special favorite to Candyland … “I blame the kid.”
- Animals: Even looking down on this planet Erin grew obsessed with the creature of this planet especially the woodland ones. Rabbits, Gazelle, Cats, and bears all held a soft spot and still do as she often goes on nature walks now and hugs them tight making them wish that they had never seen her in most situations.
- Alcohol: Sadly, do to her appearances as a mere child she can no longer drink like she did in the heaven’s a reason she got thrown out. Instead she buys other people booze in hopes that they will enjoy it in her stead. Or simply to smell it on occasions.
Dislikes: (3 minimum)
- Good Byes: Residual memories of her host still linger and she still remembers the pain and suffering that the young girl experienced. The Goddess of Fortune took on Erin’s name in memory of the girl’s parents and to this day still returns to them on special occasions to let them experience moments with their little girl. Call her what you will but she has a soft spot for them and told them that they could talk with her whenever they wanted to.
- Indiscriminate Violence: A vulgar act that is quite offensive to her ever since she first looked down on this world. Each war she watched she begged that the God of War would stop each time though he would smirk that evil grin of his and descend upon the world to help in wreaking havoc.
- Losing: Goddess of Fortune or Games, honestly they go hand in hand most situations and losing is not an option in her mind. If she ever loses she believes it is a failing in her abilities as goddess and gets quite demoralized.
Fears: (3 minimum)
- Thunderstorms: As a child, Erin was terrified of crash and flicker their sporadic interval didn’t help this. She could never prepare herself and always would jump in terror. Even with a goddess with her she can’t make herself comfortable with them. Pulling them away into some dark area where they can wait for it to pass in silence.
- Death: She doesn’t fear the passing of souls from this world to the next, she fears the personification of death. Among the Tarot deck Death is among them waiting and lurking. The goddess of death was the one in the stars that you didn’t want to annoy as she had ways to get to you. Fortune herself was cast down, thank her lucky star that she managed to hold onto some of her abilities to keep Death from reaping her on banishment to this realm. To this day though she is afraid that Death will come and attempt to finish her off.
- Aichmophobia: The fear of needles, who isn’t afraid of them honestly!
Motivations/Goals: (3 minimum)
- Tarot Cards: The universe is infinitely expanding making the locations to search for these cards next to improbable, thankfully Fiore is fixed and the cities across it each have black market sellers where you can nab yourself one of these rare trinkets. To most they are worthless and are fabricated for con artists to tell one’s fortune to the astute eye though they can see a catalyst for the rare summons that mock the laws of nature and magic.
- Party Like it’s Some Odd Year: It really shouldn’t have come to any surprise as most of the summons are quite unique and enjoy goofing off as much as the next guy. Also who doesn’t love to join in on the festivities.
- Conquer Death: She wants to find Death’s tarot card as fast as she can so she can stop them from taking the lives of those she loves and to give back her grandparents. This may never be possible but it is an inspiration that keeps her going.
