Flight - Kenpachi is able to take flight by summoning a pair of demonic wings that sprout out from his back.
Enhanced Intelligence - For unknown reasons, Kenpachi seems to have a much higher I.Q. than most people. The way this was found out was that one of his teachers gave him a series of "impossible" games to play: They weren't impossible anymore because of Kenpachi. Just as they thought, he was able to complete them in record time.

Personality:As a child, Kenpachi was the sort of unenthusiastic kid who would rather watch clouds than do much anything else, really. He preferred not to get into "exasperating" activities, going as far as to pretend he was busy in order to avoid responsibility. It'd only make sense that he'd hate fighting as well, deeming it especially excruciating. You'd think he be unaware of this supposed fallacy. On the contrary, he knows very well of this personality trait, and even embraces it, saying that he'd rather run off someplace than start up a fight. Perhaps the most defining trait of Kenpachi's personality is the fact that he considers most women "annoying" and "bossy". If asked about his mother, the demon would define them as aggressive, and sometimes scary. He'll actually go as far as to point this part of him out.
Asides from that, Kenpachi likes the type of game that requires one to think: Stuff like chess and shogi(The Japanese version of chess, essentially).
When it comes to combat, most people will start to realize that Kenpachi acts, or rather thinks like an old man. I will come out and say it right here: Forget what I said about the thing about women: Kenpachi's most defining trait is in his intelligence. Despite his visible laziness, the man is actually quite intelligent; He was feigned as having an I.Q. of over 200 when he was about twelve years old. In better words, the man's a master strategist. He claims that chess and such go a long way in learning strategy: Strategy on a game board is nothing different from strategy on the battlefield. This also steps from being taught quick thinking skills; Anticipate every reaction for every action, and create a reaction for a quick action. Looking at his rare loss of composure, Kenpachi can see through most deceptions and make frankly surprising results from situations that would stress out a normal person. His fighting style involves minimizing damage to himself, and maximizing that to the opponent.
Despite all that, Kenpachi isn't perfect. He's also prone to lapses of thought, where he momentarily cannot keep things in his mind.
